Academic Advising and Support Programs has developed several workshops to assist students. If you would like a learning specialist to work with your group or organization, please complete the Workshop Request Form. Requests must be made at least 1 week in advance. Once your request has been processed, a learning specialist will contact you to finalize plans. Please read the descriptions of the workshops that are currently available.

English as a Second Language (ESL) groups provide students who are non-native speakers of English with the opportunity to improve their English while practicing a variety of language-intensive academic skills. Groups focus on language skills necessary to succeed at an American university, including social conversation skills, and are very helpful to students who have been educated abroad.
