In early June both your family and you should receive a postcard from Emory College. The postcard will direct you to a Blackboard website, which also contains important information that you should review prior to your arrival this fall, especially academic information and and a checklist of important tasks you need to complete over the summer. The first mandatory Orientation event for transfer students will take place on the afternoon of Sunday, August 23, though we encourage transfer students to participate in other Orientation events that begin on the morning of Saturday, August 22. The first mandatory academic advising event for transfer students will be on the morning on Monday, August 24. Please note that international transfer students must arrive on Wednesday, August 19, for Orientation events that begin on Thursday, August 20.
Plan to return both to Blackboard and this website frequently over the summer to view important updates to orientation and academic information.
