Congratulations on joining the Emory College family.

The above links will allow you to obtain important pre-arrival information. Please take time to review this website carefully.

In early June both your student and you should receive a postcard from Emory College. The postcard will direct you to a Blackboard website, which also contains important information that you should review prior to your arrival this fall, especially academic information and and a checklist of important tasks you need to complete over the summer. Plan to return both to Blackboard and this website frequently over the summer to view important updates to orientation and academic information.

The most frequent question we receive from parents is about the timing of parent events during Orientation. Special Orientation events are planned for parents on the afternoon of Saturday, August 23, 2008, and the morning of Sunday, August 24, 2008. We ask that parents depart campus in the afternoon of Sunday, August 24; students begin their mandatory advising sessions at this time and become very busy. More specific information regarding these parent events is listed in the Orientation Schedule.
