Transfer Orientation

Transfer Orientation at Emory begins the summer before you arrive and continues through Orientation Week. Orientation is required and runs August 24 - 27 for transfer students.

Below you will learn about different programs and offerings that are designed to facilitate a smooth transition to campus.

Transfer Orientation Events 2024

Explore campus, connect with peers, and learn about all of the resources Emory has to offer through Orientation Week programming. Whether you are living on or off campus, keep this schedule in mind as you plan your arrival.

Orientation Week Highlights
  • Transfer Happy Hour + Campus Tour
  • Transfer Welcome Brunch + Coke Toast (required for Emory College students)
  • Transfer Essentials Advising (required for Emory College students, not applicable to GBS students)
  • Transfer Small Groups (required for Emory College students): Meet with a Transfer Orientation Leader and your peers. Get to know other new students through activities, discuss Emory resources, and have an open forum to ask questions.

Note: Goizueta students are invited to all Orientation Week events, but have an additional GBS-specific schedule that will be emailed to them directly.

Weeks of Welcome
August 28 - October 15: Six weeks of activities and events to welcome undergraduates to campus including student involvement fairs.

Check the Emory Welcome Transfer Orientation App in spring 2024 for more details!
