An external vendor is defined as anyone other than our College Web Team (including student workers or Emory staff) creating or developing a website for a College department or program.
Departments/Programs using external vendors to create their web site are required to request a consultation with the College Web Team before signing a contract. We will help you purchase a web site that will work on our servers and follows the College and Univeristy design standards, as well as aid you in giving clear directions to the vendor as to your needs.
Be aware that we cannot support sites created by or collaborate with external vendors. We recommend that you purchase a maintainance contract from your vendor for continuing support and troubleshooting.
