Semester Details: This class is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed for wildernesss survival. Topics include wilderness ethics and ecology, first aid, survival essentials, and orientineering. Additional costs are approximately $25-$30. Equipment and supplies should not be purchased until after the first lecture. Note: Class meets on MTW in WPEC and other locations on campus. Mandatory day-long outings will be scheduled on 2-3 selected weekends. First class meeting is in WPEC Room 402.
