Catalog Description: Constitutional responsibilities of the federal legislature. Effects of internal procedures and organization, external links, and member goals on congressional decisions.

Semester Details:

An examination of the historical origins and contemporary politics of the U.S. Congress. Particular emphasis on the institutional design of Congress, congressional leadership, parties and partisanship, and legislative-executive relations.
