Catalog Description: Fall, spring. If you like water polo, basketball, or hockey, you¿ll enjoy team handball. The game combines the skills of running, jumping, and throwing to create a fastmoving exciting sport.
Semester Details: Content: This sport incorporates facets of various team sports. It has been called ice hockey without sticks and ice, water polo without water, and soccer without kicking. However, Team Handball most closely resembles basketball, having roughly the same numbers of players, dribbling and passing, picks and rolls, and fast breaks. This sport has been a favorite of Europeans for over 50 years.
