Catalog Description: Spring. Prerequisite: Mathematics 361. Estimation, hypothesis testing, goodness-offit tests, linear regression.
Semester Details: The mathematical theory of statistical inference. Heavy use will be made of the theory of probability developed in Mathematics 361.
