Semester Details:

From plagues of prehistory to pandemics of disease emergence today, pathogens have played a central role in our existence.  This course will provide insights into why we get sick and how we heal.  Students will be challenged to critically evaluate human disease within the context of society and the environment, while refining their understanding of biological theory and methodology. May be used to fulfill an Elective requirement for ENVS majors and minors.
