Scholarships
Emory College has always chosen its incoming class for their intellect, passion, curiosity, and conviction – we seek young people who promise to shine in their own lives and to improve the lives of others. As a result our students excel both in and out of the classroom: as scholars, debaters, artists, athletes, campus leaders, and community volunteers.
To be an even bigger magnet for the nation’s most intellectually and socially engaged student body, the first choice of the most gifted and creative students anywhere, we must remove all economic barriers. No matter their family’s financial status, the various attractions of other colleges, or their continuing needs once enrolled, these stellar young people must see Emory as the one and only place to unleash their potential.
You can help Emory College step into its future. We’re committed to attracting, enrolling and retaining the best students in the nation, and to helping them graduate without significant debt. Read more about Emory Advantage.
Consider endowing a scholarship – and seed the success of future generations of great leaders and lifelong learners.

A gift of at least $100,000 will endow a scholarship providing an Emory student with tuition support.
Term Scholarships: $25,000 & up
A gift of at least $25,000 establishes a term scholarship, payable at the rate of $5,000 per year for a period of not less than five years.
Adopt-a-Scholar: $10,000 & up
You can join the Adopt-a-Scholar program for a minimum gift of $10,000, payable at $2500 per year to support a qualifying student during the course of his or her four academic years at Emory. Donors also have an opportunity to support additional students, or those with higher financial needs, by giving $10,000 per year for a total of $40,000. People wishing to support the Adopt- A-Scholar Program with gifts under $2,500 are welcome to do so as well. These funds will be assigned to a general pool of students.
