About Our Club

flowering bushThe Emory Garden Club Mission Statement

Our mission is to help promote and sustain Emory's natural "green" environment.

Welcome

The Emory Garden Club is currently planning several projects for 2008.

We designed and planted several gardens around the Emory campus—the first garden was a small butterfly garden located at the Mathematics and Science Center. We also planted a shade garden at Woodruff Library.

Our largest project - is the Spring House Project, which began in the summer of 2003, includes the restoration of a path and surrounding area that leads to an old spring house located behind the Houston Mill House. We will have yearly work days to clear out overgrowth from the area.

We hope you can join us. To learn more, see Projects & Events.
