Program ReviewOverview | Purposes | Components of the Review Process | Preparing the Self-Study Document OverviewEmory College and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences have reinstated a process to review academic departments and programs. Evaluation is key to the academic mission of the Arts and Sciences in part because it enables faculty and administration to measure whether or not they have attained a level of excellence commensurate with their own goals and aspirations, as well as those of the University. More importantly, systematic review will provide both the departments and the administration with the information we need to plan for the future of the Arts and Sciences. Briefly, the review will consist of three important elements:
