Learning Enhancement Lab (LEL)

Technology | Training

LELThe Learning Enhancement Lab is a new facility located in the Student Activity & Academic Center (SAAC) on Emory’s Clairmont Campus designed to provide members of the Emory community with special technologies to increase productivity. Supported by the Office of the Provost, Emory College, and University Technology Services (UTS), these technologies are designed to increase learning and work efficiency and effectiveness.

What are Learning Technologies?

Student with ideaLearning technologies consist of hardware and software that facilitate input, integration, and/or output of information. In its original form (assistive or adaptive technologies), it was meant to support individuals with restrictions to their learning or to facilitate efficiency at work.  Newer technologies, such as those found in the LEL, have been found to help individuals as they engage in reading, writing, and studying essential to course and work requirements.

The Learning Enhancement Lab offers a variety of tools (LEL technologies) for individuals with different needs.
