EPASS (Emory Pathways to Academic Success for Students) is a peer tutoring program that provides opportunities for students to review course content, master basic concepts and develop more advanced skills under the guidance of a fellow student. Undergraduates meet with a peer tutor in one-on-one or small-group sessions.

Peer tutors are chosen based on their records of academic excellence and faculty recommendationstutoring students. They receive specialized training that allows them to provide a high-quality tutoring experience. Tutors are available without a fee for many Emory College introductory courses and several upper-level courses.

To use EPASS services, students login to our online scheduling program, TutorTrac. If a course is not listed on TutorTrac, the student should call or email Shari Obrentz to see if tutors, or other sources of support are available. (EPASS does not offer tutoring for classes in the Business School.)

Read about Tutor and Tutee Responsibilities during sessions.

EPASS appointments will be available beginning September 7, 2008. All students should have activated accounts by September 3 and will be able to search for and book appointments.

*FRESHMEN will not have access to TutotTrac until September 3
