Within the United States

Transient Study provides a mechanism for students to obtain credit for summer school away from Emory within the United States. Only those completed applications which are submitted by April 15th will be guaranteed a turnaround time of three weeks.

The application can be submitted online or printed. Select one of the following:

• Online Transient Study Application
• Print version of the New Application (PDF)
• Print version of the Supplemental Application (PDF)
• Request for Letter of Authorization or Good Standing (PDF)

Outside the United States

Students seeking approval for summer courses taken overseas must contact the Center for International Programs Abroad at cipa@emory.edu. You can also find out more information on the For Emory Students CIPA website. The petition deadline for Summer Study Abroad 2008 is April 15, 2008. Students should direct further questions to Oksana Gomas via e-mail at ogomas@emory.edu.
