Program Guidelines

Freshman Year

• Meet with Dean Ram for an overview of the four-year program.
• Identify the pre-engineering courses that you need to take based on the Pre-Engineering Curriculum required by Georgia Tech.
• Decide on a major and identify the courses that you will need to take.
• Develop a schedule that will include a balance of GER, major and pre-engineering courses.

Sophomore Year

• Meet with Dean Ram to evaluate your progress.
• Meet with a Georgia Tech Admissions adviser to go over the procedures.

Junior Year (September)

• Evaluate your progress.
• Fill out the online GER audit.
• Make an appointment to meet Charlene Whitlow (charlene.whitlow@emory.edu) with your Georgia Tech application.
• Submit application to Emory by December 15 and to Georgia Tech by February 1 for admission in the following fall.

Junior Year (Spring)

• Fill out the graduation request if you are graduating
