ECE MS Program Entry Requirements

The 4-2 program leads to an undergraduate degree from Emory and a master's degree from either the School of Mechanical Engineering or the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Once at Georgia Tech, students also have the opportunity of pursuing higher degrees.  

Admission Requirements

Students have to maintain a GPA above 3.0 and take the GRE exam before applying.  Minimum GRE score =1900

Required Emory Physics Courses

Physics 151 & 152 General Physics I & II, with Laboratory
Physics 234 Digital Electronics and Microprocessors, with Laboratory
Physics 444 Advanced Undergraduate Laboratory

Required Emory Math Courses

Students have to take a differential equations course at the level of Math 212 (Emory) or Math 2403 (Georgia Tech)
In addition, students must take Math 318 (Complex Variables)

Required Georgia Tech ECE Undergraduate Courses

These courses must be taken at Georgia Tech prior to applying for the program.
