George J. Mitchell Scholarship
Apply fall term of senior year or after. The U.S.-Ireland Alliance funds one year of postgraduate study or research at the universities in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. Mitchell scholars receive tuition, housing, a living expenses stipend, and an international travel stipend. Mitchell Scholars must demonstrate intellectual distinction, a record of leadership, involvement in extracurricular activity, and service to others, and potential for future leadership. Finalists will be interviewed in Washington, DC in November.
