Emory College offers research symposia featuring undergraduate research twice a year. The Fall Research Symposium is during Family Weekend in October, and the Spring Research Symposium is during Undergraduate Research Week in April. Along with other interested students, students funded by SIRE will present their work in one or both of the symposia during the academic year they are funded. Presentations can be in a variety of formats including oral presentations, poster presentations, panel discussions and creative performances.
In the Fall Research Symposium, all participants will be asked to give poster presentations of their research projects. Awards will be given to the best research presentation in each of the three major divisions: Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Humanities and Creative & Performing Arts. All students are offered advice on how to represent their work in poster format- please contact Dr. Leah Roesch at leah.roesch@emory.edu to make an appointment.
For all conference presentations, including on campus symposia, Emory College students may make an appointment to print their research posters in White Hall 300 free of charge. Contact Dr. Leah Roesch at leah.roesch@emory.edu. Click here to download guidelines for making posters printed here.
